@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp and his friend Chalkie for some reason are in another pub , not Jack’s as usual and as much as they like football they want their beers :o) my avatar as you may have guessed is a photo of our missing friend bev in a Shirley Temple hairdo that her mum made for her , we all miss her , she was like a younger sister to me , how was your day? ours should be busy but calm I hope :o)) stay safe and thanks for caring pal

7 June 2020, Epl ( English Football ) starts up again , LIVERPOOL !

As my dad used to say, “When the service isn’t good, it isn’t service.”

Perfect timing for Chalkie or Andy to jump behind the bar and pour multiple pints while the barman is raptured in football!!

I am sure when pubs opens and football starts again after lockdown, they are going to be watching it in pubs as no fans are allowed in stadiums!

What is he watching now? Reruns or highlights of old events?

I was in a bar where the barmaid was so engrossed in something on tv at the other end of the bar, she was oblivious to our calls for a drink. I used my cell phone to call the bar. When she answered, I ordered our drinks.

Guitar Bob might get his attention.

I wonder what that pub is called? Looks more modern and flash than Jack’s place!

I often used to pass pubs on the bus that had great big signs outside saying “LIVE SPORTS HERE” or something along those lines.

I mentioned the childhood photos on Teresa Burritt’s blog (Frog Applause) to you a few days ago and Beviek’s was on there. I love it.

I went out my Mum again today and my lungs are fully charged with O2 again now.

So my day was pretty great.

This is not unlike a cashier at the grocery store yakking away on the phone while customers are waiting in line. Very inconsiderate.
