Hey, at least it’s not a shower that would turn your hair gray
When we were kids, after spending the afternoon at the community pool, we were allowed to skip a bath that night.
Having lived near the Susquehanna River all my life, I’d rather (and did a lot as a kid) swim in the river or we swam at the farmer’s pond (with his permission) than swim in a public pool any day.
My junior high school had a swimming pool (phys ed) and we learned the importance of washing the chlorine off our skin.
Just toss a bar of soap and a wash cloth into the pool.
You probably should shower after being in a public pool.
