I love cats. I really do. I think they are the most incredible, wonderful animals in the world. So complex. But really, empathy is not a strong point. A cat doctor? I can’t see it. Sure, my Ericka (pictured, with glowing eyes) was brilliant; a cat-crazy friend once described her personality by saying I would come home one day and find Ericka had built an atom bomb in my living room. This comic reminds me of those TV shows with a teenage boy becoming a doctor — not someone I would ever choose. Of course, all my doctors are female with the exception of one specialist, who is about 80 years old.
