Shaving daily is not necessarily as pleasant as the anticipation of shaving.

I attempted to shave for the first time when I was 14 before going into HS. I didn’t have a beard, or any type of facial hair yet, but when I did shave the cheek part of my face to my astonishment there actually was some form of hair on my razor, meaning at the time it was starting to slowly develop in a way. It really, really shocked me in a way at the time

Rockaway, NY: My father ran away when I was 11.

I lived most of my teen years in dread of the day I had to start shaving – daily.

In my high school, no one was allowed to show facial hair. Ever.

I had no one to show me how to shave.

This is one of my reminders of just how terrible my youth was.

With the current situation, I shave on a totally abstract schedule.

I’m impressed that he knows what Control-Z is — most teens don’t know anything about computers, much less the control keyboard commands.
