Actually, this is the problem with using antibiotics against virus diseases.
So even conservative cartoonists like Parker and Hart could see the problem with an escalating war on bugs using poisonous pesticides, and yet fifty years later companies like Bayer/Monsanto are still pushing stuff like Roundup.
