I’ve applied for transfer to one of the other planetary observation posts in this system, but home base says it will be at least two blarcs before they can consider it.

If we ever do get to Mars, we will eventually screw it up too. The pessimist in me thinks the human race should be contained to one planet.

This sounds like the arguments against spending “all of that money” to go to the moon. It wasn’t a waste. A lot of the technology we enjoy today spun off of the Apollo program.

Good choice.

I like our planet. The people on it… well no few of them not so much. I think if we do colonize Mars we should offer free tickets to anyone not willing to put in the effort to better planet Earth. Those of us who stay behind will have fewer people objecting as we repair our planet once and for all.

All the rich people and the politicians want to move there, too.
