Not all old people are judgemental jerks. As a matter of fact, not very many old people are that way. Just the ones who were probably that way for their entire life.
When I was a substitute teacher, I once came across a group of young men (black, white, and Hispanic) in the hallway, all with their waistbands below their buttocks. According to the school dress code, I should have written them up – but I have hated dress codes since I was their age or younger.
So, I told them I was glad to see they were such an upstanding, well-behaved bunch. This (as expected) was mildly offensive to them (wanna-be badasses that they were), and they demanded to know what I meant.
“Well, with your pants like that, you’re obviously not planning to anything that would require you to fight or run!”
They all cracked up laughing – and pulled up their pants. Score one for the smart old dude.
I dunno. Used to be, when I first saw those baggy pants, I a) said to myself, hey, the circus is in town and b) wanted to witness a painful skateboard accident, tripping over their loose bits.

This strip is approved by the spirit of stand-up comedian Kevin Meaney.

I am triggered and offended. My parents were killed by clowns.

That’s cultural appropriation. Wearing giant pants is part of black culture.

This particular epiphany does not occur until the pants fall down, while you are standing in line buying small condoms. :)

I love the randomness of this strip!
