I preferred Snoopy in the old timey strips when he was still a dog. He was funny much more often in those old strips. This one is just dumb and could have been done with a human character much better. In these latter strips, there is nothing Snoopy does that has anything to do with being a dog. Schulz had plenty of wonderful human characters that could have handled all of Snoopyâs bits, except his friendship with Woodstock. I never got why he used Snoopy this way.
What about bats not being good for teeth? Though Iâm pretty sure those arenât teeth âmarksâ. Rather, Snoopyâs drilling holes clean through the handle with his teeth. Probably looking to have a place to either run a lanyard through so he can carry it without holding it or add streamers to it and give it to Lucy so sheâll at least have a good excuse why she struck out her next at bat.

Luckily itâs not an aluminum bat.

I have been biting the bat in frustration several times over these last months. And not because of baseball.

Snoopy is a good dog. By the way, I think the other players prefer the marks on the bat.

I need that last panel on a t-shirt. It so represents my mood these days.

Just imagine the ball is the cat next door.

Such teeth Markâs may weaken the bat and affect your scores.
