Is this supposed to be a vague clue where this comic is going? The doubt I figure arising is that Wiki says that Nancy is an American comic taking place in a town in Tennessee. Here we can see that the car if an American town is parked on the wrong side of the street! So is Nancy going to switch to becoming British? But then a clue that I never noticed before, Nancy’s clothes do look more like British school uniforms than American uniforms.

I’m pretty sure seeing faces in objects isn’t childish, it’s just human nature

Nancy is simply going to have to face facts.

I’d feel a bit nervous going down that street — as if I’m being watched.

The joke is that all the objects look like faces giving Nancy the doubtful side eye in the second panel

Looks like a cubist view of the Land of Oz. (The real Oz, not the movie.)

The side-eyes really make it, especially the squinty one on the access port.
