One of my favorites from the book when I was a kid. As as adult, I feel that there are no jokes in this comic strip – just very weird situations. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I don’t expect that cat to sit still for this much longer.

I did once catch a cat of mine sitting quietly in a large empty pot on the cold stove. Never did it again; she was just curious. I’m sure the inspiration for this was something similar.
