Smart move. Since the advent of CV-19, lots of folks are realizing that 80+% of their normal, everyday plans are the kind that can be delayed or just cancelled without loss. Hard to adjust to but the new normal will be even harder.

There are some things I miss doing. It’s annoying but I do not see it as infringement on my civil rights. I certainly do not see missing them as life threatening (quite the contrary).

I will quote the gospel according to the Eagles in Hotel California, “We are all just prisoners here of our own device.” Freedom is an attitude not a physical state. I guess I feel that way because I’ve fought bigger battles than this one and survived.

At age 71, I don’t have the option of, “Well, I probably won’t die – chances, according to Trump and Hannity, are 99% I’ll survive. 1% of dying is good odds – with my life.” I never did have that attitude – I used to fly airplanes. I’ve flown thousands of sorties, that 1% would have caught up to me. I needed more than a 99% survival rate.

There are dozens of these on the internet. Here is just one: https://www.slideserve.com/petula/performance-improvement

But what about the return of Roseanne Barr?
