So far, so good. Love seeing our boy driving the tractor But he hasn’t eaten for days!

Alas and alack; No Meiux Meiux riding with him while he goes chugging along.

To sweetpeapete from yesterday: My friend, the one I’ve talked about here, feels the same way about her horribleneighbors. They set off fireworks, shoot guns, rev their rvs, kill the pigs…all right next to her. All of the poor cats are terrified and there are mamas and babies. It’s anarchy over there. And, this is all within city limits!

Very nice. Glad to see Chesney can drive a “stick”.

‘I drove past our city swimming pool yesterday. It was packed with people. I haven’t seen so many people in the pool since the 1960’s. The 89° temperature might have something to do with that. Covid-19 rates are climbing, our governor is considering mandatory wearing of masks out in public. The chairwoman of the Republican party says that violates her rights. Yeah, her right to get sick.’.

.Enforcing ‘mandatory’ anything is the catch. This morning on doggie walkies, a mask-free man approached (I was masked). I held my ground waiting to see if he would at least ‘social distance’ out of respect. Nope…he passed within inches. I asked him if he had a mask. No. Then, thinking he didn’t understand me, I pantomimed covering face with mask. Again… No. He then mumbled something to the effect that I should do something anatomically impossible to myself. Selfish b——-d. Another person (masked) was right there taking a picture of my dog, who was wearing his flag in honor of the Fourth. We looked at each other. She shrugged. Were we two women expected to enforce mask wearing/social distancing. Maybe she went home and tried to do to herself what he suggested.

What can go wrong? How about everything! On another note, saw three robins, two rabbits, and a chipmunk while out walking today. I also heard a woodpecker and a raven.

I had seven, count ’em, SEVEN fawns in my backyard yesterday! I was thrilled beyond belief.
