Oh, no!

We have a situation!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th. It was pretty quiet here, I made my mother’s famous potato Salad and we had hot dogs. It’s 11:00 PM and I can hear fireworks going off.I’m also terminally bored. 3and a half months in the house will do that. LOL

Today is:

National Bikini Day. I’ll leave the bikinis to other people. My swimming suit is a 0ne-piece with a little skirt on it and that’s as close as you’ll get me to wearing a bikini.

National Hawaii Day.

National Apple Turnover Day. I wonder how it would be if I used peaches instead of apples?

National Graham Cracker Day. Hey! A day for all of us Graham Crackers! I might cook out tonight and make S’mores so I’ll have my graham crackers that way.

National Workaholics Day

Oh no! Now Annie has TWO cats to worry about! And little Oliver isn’t as street-wise as Chesney. She needs to find those boys soon!

Rubble, the pet believed to have been the oldest living cat, has died at the age of 31 — about 150 years old in human quantifications!

This is terrible! We already have to worry about!

I thought last night would never end. I had planned to drive the dogs out of town but instead we holed up in my sewing room, an interior pocket room with no windows, and put on Queen and other loud music while our town’s 1 1/2 hour fireworks show 2 blocks away was going on. For the most part, the dogs didn’t hear too much. But neighbors were still shooting them off until well after midnight. Dogs barked at each one. Also put the A/C on in the kitty bungalow until midnight hoping to drown out some of the noise. Very tired and cranky this morning, and sure we will hear more tonight.

No problem with Sweetheart or Kiki. I went to bed, Sweetheart did her pre bed pacing and came in soon after, Kiki sat on the foot of the bed looking at the window. She didn’t twitch once.

Ours started at 10PM. I could hear them but apparently the cats didn’t. All three never woke up. They only lasted about 12 minutes or so.

Look for tractor tracks, Oliver.

Caterwauling….. a really great word that’s perfect for the kitties since it includes ‘cat’

Uh oh!

Poor Bluebell and Jellybean are worried. I’m glad they told Annie.

I wish Lily had accompanied little Oliver on the Bring Chesney back home safe and sound Quest. L can rescue C, protect innocent and loving O, and at the same time beat off any potential threats.

Oh no! As if things weren’t bad enough! I hope nothing bad happens to Oliver! On another note, saw a robin and a dragonfly while out walking today. I also saw a tiger swallowtail butterfly outside.
