And we’re too stubborn to wear our hearing aids!

And I thought it was because of experience… they are thinking, “I know better – you too will learn.”

I can hear the words, just can’t make out what most of them are

Because we have learned that most of what is said is already known or just not relevant or true ; )

Speak for yourself, Aunty! Some of us can hear just fine … I could enjoy not being able to hear all the BS!! :-)

Because they’re remembering the good ol’ days… Usually better than what it really was.

I’ve gone through two sets of hearing aids and am now waiting to be able to afford really good ones. In the meantime, my husband tells me I’ve GOT to stop just nodding and smiling to everything the waitress says (when we could go out, that is.)

I got a new hearing aid. I have changed my will 3 times since.

I’m not Deaf. I’m IGNORING Them.
