The ruby slipping from his fingers, while untimely, is hardly a fantastic incident.

And, once more, Tarzan is saved from a death worse than fate by fate itself. He has mutant probability-altering powers.

This reminds me of the end an Austin Powers movie where the villain was up on a platform cackling and crowing during the climax and fell off.

Called it! Klumsy Kulp Kracked the phony jewel idol, now he will taste the vengeance of the pygmies spears. Better get out that six-gun and start shootin’ while you dash for the gates! True Aim Matters!!
