Undecided on remote learning or in person learning, kid?

There are three teachers in my family. Aside from trying to figure out how to stay alive, the also have other concerns like teaching all day in the classroom and duty every day on the playground and as lunch room monitors and then teaching all day on line.

Let’s do this the Trump way: live with it. Eventually enough people will die that the virus will run out of hosts to live in and die out on its own and Trump will be proven right. MAGA.

Liberate our schools! Let’s have armed white gangs roam the streets uncontested and occupy schools or have the goons from Homeland Security round up kids in unmarked vans and drop them off at school. What? You mean if children are abducted it’s a crime called kidnapping but if adults are abducted it’s law and order?

I don’t go to school but I have those nightmares too.

Buckle up, kid. It ain’t even close to dawn. So hug your teddy bear and try go back to sleep. Mom and Dad will watch out for you.

Our local elementaries and tri-town regional middle and high schools will be divided up into A&B Groups. A will go Monday & Tuesday B will go Thursday & Friday. Thorough cleaning will happen Wednesday & Saturday. Kids will do virtual classes in conjunction.

And dad has nightmares about home schooling.

Quit your whining, when I went to school we had nuclear bomb drills every afternoon.

Some of the schools have delayed the first day of school until September, making the last day of school in June 2021.
