The people who don’t think masks do any good should tell their surgeon and nurses not to bother with the masks & gown stuff when they have a procedure done. It doesn’t really keep away the chance of infections. And tell ‘em not to bother washing their hands. It’s all fake science!

Where I live in Montreal it is mandatory that we have to wear a mask new law was two weeks ago so I have no choice.

The following is something to think about in finding an answer to this question – if you don’t wish to focus today(that is fine, sometimes I don’t either) then don’t read – you have been warned! :)The argument for and against is a specious argument as NO ONE KNOWS FOR POSITIVE SURE UNTIL proof verifiable is given – and not just someone’s ‘opinion’ based on what is known. (I wish to point out at this juncture that I am talking about health reasons, not psychological reasons)Thus the politicians, “experts”, media continue to control and manipulate and change the rules from day to day for their convenience OR because of their fears(usually “shaming” fears and not health reasons) and seemingly for profit simply because no one knows and for now all is opinion. (oh, and no internet sites please – for everyone with one statement another one can be found with the opposite) Fauci is the supposed expert, yet there are many just as supposedly educated as he is that disagree with him. So far he has switched his ‘opinion’ several times and seems to tell people what they want to hear. More than likely because he knows there are no verifiable answers as of now. Hopefully, with more research AND verifiable facts rather than speculations, a correct answer will be found. Of course, once the answer is known for sure, something else contrary and divisive will obviously take its place for public debate. I believe history indicates that is one way to control the masses. js

We are in Phase 3 of a four phase reopening here in BC. Which means travel in the province and to other provinces is unrestricted, but practice safe hygiene, wear masks, etc., Provincial parks are open for overnight camping, and some businesses are reopening, including motion picture and television production companies, but bars and restaurants have been closed back down due to 70 or so new cases from too many parties recently in Kelowna. K-12 and Post-secondary in-class education is coming back for 20-21. Up here on the Island, we are keeping it down, even in Victoria and Nanaimo. Minister of Health Dix and Dr Bonnie are doing their jobs and doing them well. What do some people find so oppressive about taking easy precautions for their health when not doing so only serves to prolong the agony of this pandemic?

It is kind of like sharia law, like a burka. You will wear it until earthly life is no more, slave.

Wow, all the fragile people that can’t wear a mask to protect those around them when shopping in a store. I know people with breathing problems, makes them wear their mask every time they have to shop and they are angry at the snowflakes that refuse to because, oh, I don’t know, maybe they are just plain stupid.

Seriously, who’s the so called sheeple, but the people who refuse to wear a mask based on pure and absolute BS.

No need at home. The idea is you be apart and away from humanity. The idea is for people to be angry when someone speaks or takes something from a store shelf.

A hoax or not, we are still guessing as we go along and I for one don’t want to take any chances with something new, unknown, and potentially lethal…
