Had to mow the weeds (I meant lawn) yesterday, 1st time in 2+ months. July we had 30 mm of rain, so far August has given us 120 mm, hence the weeds.

I wonder why Earl gets different clothes every day but Opal has the same purple shirt or dress every single day?

Good thing we don’t have a lawn, 1.02 (0.04 in) mm of rain this month so far.

If anyone ever read the Wizard of Oz books, you’d remember that the emerald city is just a normal city and everyone is legally required to wear green glasses. This is in opposition to the movie where they wanted to show off how great color movies can be.

    Fun facts.

I personally, fixed the drought in my region. Watered the front yard thoroughly over 24-36 hours. The day following, we had a “derecho”.

Side note – spell check doesn’t recognize derecho but I googled it and that’s the correct spelling.
