No, you’re wrong. :) This is old water – very early in the strip, before Susie’s character/personality combo becomes a true foil for Calvin’s.I suspect that Susie learned from this experience. We all know Calvin didn’t. :)

Calvin, tell her to kiss your backside! SHE was the one passing notes and got YOU in trouble. It’s what the females of the species always do.

The idea of being ruined for life for something you did when you were 6 years old is pretty frightening in itself.

Chovil: the idea of being ruined for life for something you did long time ago, perhaps in your youth, is realy frightening! It is not so far away, it’s sometimes reality!

@Grog,Susie already ‘darned’ Calvin. She might as well ‘sock’ it to him. BTW Calvin won’t be ruined. Darned means mended.Susie doesn’t usually use such strong language. She must be upset.

Is Susie’s ultimate goal in life to run for God? Calvin is a six year old who is only concerned for the moment, as most children that age are. Calvin, admittedly, is a character, but there is something very wrong about a little girl who has the outlook that she does. Time to check into Susie’s parents, methinks….

What in the world was so bad about the comment comicgos made that brought on such a strong reaction? You know, one person’s “inane” comment is someone else’s “LOL” of the day! This is such a fun comic! Why can’t people just chill out and enjoy it without personally attacking other posters for the things they say?!? As long as their comments are related to the comic, why not just leave them alone? If you never like something someone says, then why not just skip over them and move on to the next one? Seems to me it would be a whole lot less aggravating and stressful that way!

What did Calvin even do — it was Susie passing the note — he simply “alerted” the teacher.
