That is not a blender, that is a mixer. A blender has sharp blades and is intended for grinding.

That is a mixer, and not a blender. I don’t know if Daniel is saying Ben is clueless, or if Dan is clueless himself.

Beat me to the punch again! Not a blender (which is enclosed in glass, but a mixer. That’s probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen in this strip. For one thing a hand mixer like that would only make bubbles, not waves. And for the other thing, it is so dangerous. Mia could end up with serious injuries. (She probably won’t though. This is a comic after all.)

Seems like that would give more of a Jacuzzi effect than a wave.

How about using the non-electric style?

well the mixer does blend things,

…and blending.

Everyone is nitpicking. This is sweet and adorable.

A hand mixer or hand controlled blender would be much safer.
