    Actually, glass blowing that way is a very dangerous job. Inhale just a little bit and your lungs are burnt history. Many people have died in that industry. (The melting point of glass is fantastically high.)

    According to Wikipedia, the earliest form of glassblowing was invented by Mrs. Cedric Glass of Liverpool, England…I’m sure she had her reasons.

    I worked in clear fused quartz its working temperature was 3600 degrees F.

    If travel ever gets back to at least semi-normal, and anyone has an itch to go to Venice, take a side trip to the island of Murano. They make some of the most beautiful crystal, and, to my knowledge, still in the old tradition of blowing the glass.
