At least he’s not waiting until he’s IN el baño before he let’s all his friends know about it… On the other hand, we have no way of knowing if he was planning to do that as well. :-)
Because that’s how kids today, and even quite a few adults, have become with these phones and social media. And especially with social media, they telling their business to people they don’t even know and have never met! To me, it’s absolutely ridiculous! They have no other life!
If you’re in the middle of a conversation or activity, you excuse yourself when you need to visit the restroom. You would do this at dinner, cards, drinks, a long work meeting, and Bible study. As long as Baldo is not being explicit, there is nothing wrong with telling the others on Zoom, Signal, WeChat, XBox Live, or whatever that you are going to be right back in just a few minutes.
Husband has an 18 yo niece – never have seen her using a cell phone when we are around and the 11 yo does not have one. (My niece and nephews are grown so I would not go by what they do at 28, 29 and 31.)

Good call. Social media is all well and good, but nobody, BUT NOBODY, needs to know when you’re headed to the bathroom for ANY reason.

I use my phone for my shopping lists and yearly holiday reminders of what I need to do and make. Occasionally I make calls and rarely I do a text.

Don’t jump to conclusions, papi. Could be the name of a hip new water park. In which case you ground him for not following COVID precautions.
