Bless every teacher who has had to do this for their students. Take my advice though, keep every receipt for your tax return at least 5 years just in case you get audited. I only ever got called in once, but I had one file drawer full of receipts and by the end of the audit the Grand Tax Inquisitor actually found he owed me another $300 for school supplies that H&R Block missed. Woo Hoo! That was a pretty big chunk of change back then.
Yikes. Using 4th grade as a benchmark, I had 23 in my class. Our kids had 30-32. This 10 y/o comic 37. Our local school started using 1 teacher to cover 2 full classrooms with an Aide. And we wonder why it is so hard to recruit and retain teachers?
