By the look on Muggs face, he sniffed a little too much “Snow”

I believe “snow” usually refers to heroine. Cocaine is coke or crack. I learned this through seeking out lower companions.

So you can judge the quality of nose powder by the size of the dog’s smile?

I remember a Mission Impossible episode where cocaine was called “snow.”

Here is how to insert an image into your comment, broken down into plain English.First type a less than sign. < . This tells the computer reading your code that it should expect something other than text to follow. Then type the letters img in lower case. This stands for “image” in HTML talk. Then type a space and the letters src This stands for “source”. Followed by an equals sign = and a quote " . Next paste in the web address of the image you want to show. You can just copy and paste from the address bar. A great source of images is Google Image search. Just type in what you are looking for. Once you have the web address http://www.spleger.com close with another quote " and another space and then end the whole thing with a forward slash and a greater than sign /> That’s all there is to it.

Writers through history have had their sayLike Homer, Faulkner and old HemmingwayBut I think the one we most likeGoes by the name of Curtis, MikeOn many a cold winters nightWhen snow blocked all from sight By the light of the warming fire To reach his hearts desireHe would stay up ‘til very late Writing with charcoal on a slateHe knew he had to pay his duesSo he minded well his p’s and q’sA boy growing up in modest meansPursuing there, his boyhood dreamsThen one Christmas when he was eightHe received pencil and paper instead of slateNow he could really begin to writeHis goal was well in sight But reality soon raised its ugly headWith writing alone the kitty couldn’t be fedA law enforcement officer he soon becameHis outlook on life would never be the sameThe years went by and his skills he did honeSpending the nights working his fingers to the boneHis writings were well crafted you can be sureNo-one could say they were a load of manureAt last he was rewarded, Dick Tracy was the prizeHe was a success in his sainted mothers eyesThings started good, soon they were going greatPaychecks were regular, the mortgage never lateThen came the day of the great outrageWhen his name left the top of the pageLost in the shuffle, lost in the messHis nights now were filled with distressHe continued his writing, he finished the scriptThough now no-one knew he was still with the stripTrapped in the void between obscurity and renownHe refuses to allow the situation to get him downSo we look for the day when he returns to the foldAnd he won’t be left standing out in the cold.

Not being into drugs, and not being a CSI adict, how does a uniformed cop know the quality ofr a substance out on the road? Makes me wonder about that guy…….

It seems that ‘snow’ can refer either to cocaine or heroin: http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=6630.

during my misspent youth cocaine was snow or blow. heroin was called horse, among other things. maybe that has changed but snow was never an interchangeable term between the two.
