I wish summer would run shorter!

Once again, a little over 10 years ago, Richard posted a blog entry regarding this strip:

Sure it was okay with Petey! Less to recall to the Therapist!

I like Geek’s Neck beach. It was named for a geek who spent his day at the beach looking down at his laptop and getting his neck sunburnt. His neck was so red that ships could see it from miles away.

This summer ran a little strange.

The summer that wasnt

We paid our $35 for a parking pass to our city beach, and didn’t go once— I’m a beach person like Petey is, and my wife was afraid of the ’rona. We DID take down a couple trees that were threatening our house (they had knives!) and so got a lot more sun on our deck. FWIW.

Is it just me or is the mom wearing the nap mat from yesterday?

I’ll bet my geek’s neck is a geekier neck than Geek’s Neck’s geek neck… ☺

Short and sweet! Reminds me of our after-lunch swims in that overseas country where I spent a lot of time (a country that practiced a form of siesta). Summer as it should be. And good for Petey, My Hero, too….

Summer is fun in small doses.

Heck, when you get to my age ALL the seasons are that short…
