“He saves our lives”. Really? Tarzan stopped Pomeroy from finishing the buffalo off, because he had a brilliant idea – which cost one of the bearer’s life (as happens often with Tarzan’s great plans).
Saved your lives? Oh please! He’s the one who put you in harm’s way in the first place by telling Pommy boy not to kill the wounded buffalo. And you forgot your colleague killed by that wounded buffalo just minutes ago?
Pomeroy continued, “Yes, we’ll leave him here to die not realizing that in a couple days time he will recover on his own and come after me and savagely kill me.” That seemed reasonable to the bearers.
The artist is having a tough time drawing “…looked up unbelievingly.” Those adverbs do tend to be difficult. Fortunately for us, we all know that Tarzan will soon come to his senses. Maybe dig a pit for Pomeroy? That would’ve been a good title for this episode: “A Pit for Pomeroy”.
Scratch two uppity bearers…..two bullets, one for each for arguing with Porky-Pig Faced Fatboy and extremely ugly swine Pomeroy. By the way, did you get a good look at Porky’s hairdo, squinty eyes, and lopsided nose? UGH! Ugly SOB’s Lives Don’t Matter!!

the bearers are like the minor crew of the SS Enterprise, there briefly, just to be removed as part of the plot.

First frame: Pomeroy, embarrassed, that his “marital aid” fell out of his luggage.

“Yes, he saved your lives, so a small loan only. $500 should do it.”
