It’s a good idea but in practice dilapidated properties are targeted more than nice protected ones, as they are much easier to attack and less people are likely to report any activity on a run down property. Insurers would much rather take on a good condition property than a run down one, for many reasons but one is run down properties are often targeted by thieves for copper piping, lead roofing etc and then often maliciously damaged by squatters or gangs.
Cliff is completely wrong, of course. Dilapidated houses are broken into more frequently because they’re in bad neighborhoods, are easier to get into, and don’t have alarms.
Well, a considerable number of Covid 19 deaths came for people from pre-existing conditions & unhealthy lifestyles…NOT attempting to say being a couch potato is lethal but…it does weaken you body

I’m with cliff. With this pandemic, the only exercise I get is going to the store and buying snacks.

This strip reminds me of the real Cliff in Cheers… he once explained how beer keeps you smart by culling out the weak brain cells.

The problem is that burglars aren’t the only ones avoiding that house. Everybody does, including women.
