“ Organized chaos”. Do not disturb, or it just becomes chaos.

I’ve had that happen a few times in my life. I’ll take “messy with knowing” over “neat but not a clue.”

I know thinks are where I used them last, So keep hands off.

One person’s straightening up is another person’s mess.

Brutus ought to help his wife by “straightening up” all of her kitchen drawers and cabinets. That might keep the garage safe from her help for a while.

I gave my ex-wife a stern request, don’t try to organize my stuff (it’s usually very neat anyway.) But especially the garage where the tools are. She has the mechanical skills of a grain of sand so she had no need to touch them.

He should repay the kindness and re-arrange her kitchen.

A tidy room may be an indication of underlying disturbance.

There are several items that it still bothers me after all these years… that I can’t find! ☺

Monkey wrench? That really dates him.. you don’t find many of those around anymore.

When I was young, I had an eidetic memory. I would not have to look for something. I could just visualize the spot where I last saw it. Then I got married…

That happens to me any time I get the straighten things out “bug”.

My wife and I had a similar discussion early on in our 47 years of marriage, I leave her kitchen alone unless I am under supervision.
