I know. I know. Not what any self-respecting dog wants, but you have to admit that the cat is an excellent judge of character since it has decided to adopt you. You are a prince among dogs.

Come on Fred. He is soft, warm and cuddly. What could go wrong?

Adopt the kitty Fred! Don’t be a “dog in the manger.”

Get it to the vet! Maybe ists chipped.

In CRANKSHAFT, a bookstore closed and is trying to find a new home for their store cat, Felix.

With Fred on this one ! Get rid of it now .

Our late Pepperpot decided we’d keep our first foster puppy. It was a good call :)

Oh come now Fred – that seems to be a perfectly nice cat. You could be stuck with someone like my cat – he likes to bite!

Be compassionate Fred he needs a home just like the one you are fortunate enough to have.

Aw, Fred, it’s soft and warm, and it won’t take up much space in your basket. I once had a basset and a cat, and they never curled up together, but they did respect each other at a distance.

At least he’s not Overboard’s Scratch.

If it is female, name her Brambly.

There’s a small black cat, no collar, that prowls around our yard. The mutts do not approve.

When the cat introduces the mean dogs in the neighborhood to its claws and defends Fred and his friends, he will think the cat is not so bad.

Fred has a new friend of a different race. Very modern there!

Might as well face it, Fred. You are no longer an only pet!

We had a big old collie dog. A kitten showed up one day and decided it liked to crawl up into the collie fur and sleep. And the collie was OK with it.

We got our first cat that way. Both dogs immediately liked her and she liked them.

The cat seems to have a pleasant disposition, Fred. Please be kind.

Look at it this way, Fred, you now have a pet…

You have been chosen by a cat. Forget trying to escape.

Next step give the sweet kitty a name. Sweetie is a great name.
