Secretariat, Evel Knievel, and O.J. Simpson were household names when this strip was published. Speaking of O.J, there’ll be something about him on TV tonight, and it won’t be about his football years.

Learning she gets ‘Motorcycle News’…..if I picture Peppermint Patty all grown up, I imagine her covered with Tattoos and working in a strip club. Now that I think about it, ‘Peppermint’ is pretty good stage name!:-)

Speaking from experience, Charlie Brown will never get rid of all traces of his house guest since she had her mail forwarded. Junk mail will come for her, offers for all the magazine subscription renewals, offers for getting your own subscriptions, gym memberships, insurance offers, and it will be endless for the next few decades.

How long does her father expect to be out of town?
