Even rats are beautiful in their own way. I just prefer that their way take them as far away from me as possible.
Although I did have a pet rat for a while as a kid. He was a lab animal that I’d worked with in high school biology class, and I took him home at the end of the semester.
Quite a few of my friends have had rats for pets. They are smart, clean, friendly, funny & “adorkable”. I still prefer cats (& dogs), but the rats were okay.
