Man on TV: ---And now the quiz show. If you can guess what's in this hat--- ---I'll give you fifty dollars. Nancy: ? ?
“This is back when TVs had good solid CRT cabinets, not the flatscreen rubbish you get these days” – someone downthread, probably.
My guess is that there’s a pair of scissors, a used AA battery, a flash drive, and a copy of The Spongebob Squarepants Movie in the hat
What do you see, Nancy?
Nice try, Nancy!
Nancy has a solution for everything….she duz the cwaziest things sometimes.
A piece of string, a piece of hard candy, an old penny, and a World’s Greatest Grandpa keychain.
Reminds me of watching – on tv – a wta member waiting for a serve.
1950’s kids just couldn’t wrap their minds around two dimensional images. I guess that’s why it was the heyday of 3-D movies.
This was when Nancy was an eye rolling comic with good art, unlike the Olivia Jaimes rubbish you see these days.
“It’s time for the penguin on your television set to explode.”
She is stuck on stupid!
“What hasss it gotsss in itsss pocketsssesss?” – The Hobbit
Dandruff.
If she said, “Something worth $50,” she wouldn’t be wrong.
“An ingot of finkillium.” (No attribution, wondering if anyone will recognize it — without googling it first.)
Won’t work kiddo.
As this is a comic strip, her idea might work.
