I sure am glad that the comic ended there. Sluggo would be taking a flight otherwise.

Growing up in suburbia in the ’50’s, there was a method of mosquito control. Every couple of weeks during the summer, the DDT trucks would roam the neighborhood, spraying the air to kill the bugs. Yep, that really used to be a thing.

I worked with someone who had a perfume/cologne that actually did smell to me like bug spray. It was awful and I don’t get how she could stand to go around smelling like that. I don’t remember the name of the stuff. I mean, I’ll use bug spray when I need to, but I’m not going to wear something that smells like that for regular everyday wear.

Nancy just found out that Sluggo isn’t romantic, he’s utilitarian!

Sluggo is a knowledgeable critic for sure.

Nancy’s perfume has got to be better than that god-awful citronella; sat out there the other morning and darn near choked on the fumes. Mosquitos? Citronella? Easier to just go back into the house – UGH.

It’s not the mosquitos; it’s the skeeters.

Was she using Raid or Black Flag?
