What happens when you take things too literally!

Now he looks like Sluggo’s brother.

Back in the day when the male of species got their haircuts at a barber, they all displayed on their door “Union Shop.” They all closed at 6 pm.

I got my first buzzcut as an adult about 20 years ago. Haven’t grown it back since. Low maintenance rules!

He looks like a young Sluggo now. Cool!

It’s only hair, it grows back.

or at least it grows back until you reach my age

Why, it’ll save money. Longer to his next cut.

Nancy did not mean for you to get a buzz cut .but a shortcut to the barbers

I no longer have to worry about going to the barber to get a haircut. Nature did it for me…

Flash forward to 2023, and in panel 3 Nancy is too absorbed in her phone and social media to make eye contact.

I can’t remember ever using a big rock to sit upon when I was a kid.
