Ten looong years ago, I used to kid, “If the great god bush, in His wisdom, wanted the tax cuts for the wealthy to expire, who are we to renew them?”
But then they did. And blamed the deficit on President Obama, predictably.
Capitalism is supposed to be about the greatest gains going to those willing to take the greatest risks. Republicans have made it about using government to protect them from any risk. Sounds like conservative socialism.

Brilliant. I especially liked the corporate stimulus payouts to create a few ditch-digging jobs, which is exactly what happened.

Why do BILLIONAIRES need a bailout? Aren’t they ALREADY wealthy enough? They should all be fed into a wood chipper and used for ground cover!
