Our playgrounds featured concrete sculptures (barrels and animal forms) and the monkey bars were embedded in cement with a thin layering of blacktop. When we started making our own skateboards our local “Suicide Hill” (OK, it wasn’t very steep at all but it) spilled onto the one major road running the length of the Rockaway Peninsula. I’ve made it to age 65.

Initially.
Someone explain “momentum” to these kids. It’s well within their level.

The thought process of a six year old. It’s a wondrous thing.

Those childrens have some impressive carpentry skills. Way better ramp than I could have come up with at that age: scrap of plywood on a cinder block.

Even Evel Knievel had to start sometime…

I read comics for the mild amusement and familiarity they provide, but this was the first laugh out loud one I’ve seen in a while. Kudos.
