A lovely break of the 4th wall today and yesterday. I love it!

The hardest thing of all is drawing realistic hands! (Count their fingers…)

“Mom, you’ve got to see this! It’s raining soccer balls!”

…or fly’s eyes…

well, I would say proper and believable drawing of human hands is not all that easy.

As you peruse this morning’s comics , check out the hands—

Are they just vague lumps with stubs as fingers

or are they drawn grasping properly and believable in different situations?

Three fingers are good enough for Disney, they’re good enough for Kevin.

Luckily it’s not anvils.

Cartoonists do want to acknowledge the change of seasons for their readers, regardless of where they themselves live.

I’d put bicycles on that list, too!

Lots of things are hard to draw. If you have decided to be a cartoonist, suck it up and draw! If you are fishing for compliments, I can also add that I really do enjoy this comic strip, and have done for a good many years. I’m not sure which one of us that dates, or maybe both. Keep up the good work!
