Even at my grocery store, there’s a co-worker from China (Hong Kong?) and of all the times I’ve gone to or gone passed his register, I’ve not heard any rant. I’ll additionally add no rant towards my African-American co-workers over “Black Lives Matter.”

I’m with Baldo, my friends are people also.

Why aren’t they wearing masks if they’re talking about Covid?

I had to read this four times before it even occurred to me that Baldo’s co-worker is supposed to look Asian.

More than likely, trump has finally realized he is going to lose the election and needs a way out that won’t label him a quitter or a loser. This way he would be able to claim he would have won the election if had not been for the corona virus. An easy way to tell is if he survives the virus after the election. Based on his health problems, he should die a slow horrible death. which would be a fitting end for the worst president in US history who is also the most successful mass murder in the history of the US. Over 200,000 American citizens murdered and still counting.iF BY SOME “Miracle” TRUMP RECOVERS AFTER THE ELECTION, HE WILL STILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL HIS ILLEGAL ACTIONS WITHOUT THE COVER OF BEING PRESIDENT.

The city of San Francisco has a lower virus rate than most cities of comparable size; Chinatown has a lower virus rate than most of San Francisco.

Of course, seeing people wearing masks in Chinatown has been common for years.

Back in late January my wife and I were touring the Great Southwest, and stayed at a hotel near Death Valley National Part. This was just as COVID-19 was starting to get publicity. There were several Chinese tourists there in the hotel wearing masks, and there had been many more at the Grand Canyon. There was also one unmasked Chinese couple there at the hotel, and they sat near us. I must have seemed a little antsy, though I said nothing and we started to chat. They were from New York City. Had lived in this country their entire lives. I felt both a little silly, and grateful that they had volunteered that information.

So why does he think he has Corona? Am I missing something???

They are all three idiots. No masks and the insidious nature of the virus leads you to be infected and infectious without knowing it.

Wear are their masks?

A longtime friend is a virology researcher at a top university. He’s one of the many working on how to stop the covid-19 virus. One of his grad students is Asian, and she’s been harassed and verbally attacked several times by complete strangers as if the whole thing were somehow her personal fault—while she’s actually on the front lines taking on the risks to actually work with it to try to stop it. It’s devastating to her and so wrong, and makes me very much appreciate this comic—thank you. (By the way, the friend says the virus’s genome would show scars where it was snipped if it had been created in a lab. There are none. It’s natural.)
