You have a choice. You can find mud or you can sleep on the bed tonight. No pressure. But those are your choices.

I don’t think Louie would appreciate the mud if Henry didn’t get him squeaky-clean from time to time!

Go find that mud, crew!

It’s a defense mechanism. The wet-muddy-dog smell helps hide the other smells Louie makes.

LOL! Louie can’t find that mud pile fast enough!

My neighbor bathed her Shepherd, Tito, in the back yard. When she finished she let him run while she cleaned up. He came to the chain link fence and met my Lab there. Frankie sniffed Tito and then hiked his leg. I volunteered to bathe Tito, again. So bathed them both and then turned them loose to clean up. Opps!! Did not clean the backyard of poop first. So had to drag the tub and hose out again for another bath. Thank goodness my neighbor and I had a good laugh over it and are still friends.

Are they beached?

Louie is just a normal, fun loving puppy dog.

I feel this way about my kitchen floor this week with all the rain. Clean the dog, clean the floor, clean the floor, clean the dog, clean the bathtub, clean the floor…..

By coincidence, today is Gracie’s and Lizzie’s monthly bath. Peekapoo and Shih Ztu respectively!

Just as I am getting ready for my least favorite task today, bathing all 3 dogs on a rainy day.

Yup—always important to savor those moments of cleanliness, brief as they are in a dog’s life …

Sorry for your loss. The only bad thing about having a dog, they just don’t get to stay here long enough.

Louie needs to get stinky asap, because he’s a dog.
