Turns out that they had no more than a few words for snow. But the Europeans didn’t understand their agglutinative language, so they thought phrases that might translate to “hard snow after a thaw and freeze” were a single word.
Good God! For a moment I thought they were eating Eskimo Pies! I was ALMOST triggered….
But you still better not use the wrong one!
How do you snow which is which?
Except the one that is yellow.

Some emojis are offensive, it’s a slippery slope.
Have emojis for snow crystals instead. Problem solved!
The emojis would all look alike to you or me but an Eskimo would know the difference.
