Naah, I see a weed.

Where some may see weed, others see a fun night in.

In the spring before the dandelions open gather the tops. Bread and fry they will taste like mushrooms :-)

They’ll do that and then blame their neighbors for all the weeds in the lawn. See a parable there?

I see a guy seeding weeds in everyone’s yard

My father would have a fit when he saw me do that!

I wish I had no weeds in my yard

We ignore the dandelions, they root deeply and help loosen the soil. As you might guess, we do not have a lawn as such. With all of the pine needles, cones, oak leaves and branches, acorns and squirrels, there’s not much point in trying.

Sometimes you just have to indulge the inner child. The adult with the weed killer can come along later.

A Plugger is always ready to let the inner child out to play. Loved blowing seeded dandelions as a kid, but my dad didn’t appreciate it much.

Where anyone else would see a weed(dandelion) a Plugged would see greens and pork chops

I had a lot of wishes in my backyard this year.

I have a question that members of this group might be able to weigh in on.. On survey.. to the question; “Are you a member of a visible minority” Are we? Surely.. false teeth, canes, walkers, bald, suspenders, limping, drooling, handicapped decal… must count.

And now we see a thousand future weeds…

Thanks, now you neighbor’s lawn will be covered in dandelions, too.

Dandelions are quite edible. And high in nutrients and vitamins. People used to eat them all the time.

Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them — A. A. Milne(and btw… I think “invasive” is a very arbitrary description.
