Michael certainly shows his immaturity in this strip. Iâm glad I never had an older brother, just a little brother (8 years my junior) so his silliness was perfectly understandable. :)
I didnât have Lizâs problem, but I had a lisp. Had to go to a speech therapist for a while. She was set up right in my school, so I âd just go for a few sessions where she ran me through âsâ âzâ and âthâ sounds until I could get them right. Now and zen I can thtill thlip ip. I have trouble with words like âsynthesizer.â
And, although it doesnât have much to do with the lisp, I canât manage the phrase âedited it.â I get a few too many âdit-dit-ditsâ on it.
âThis, That, These, Those, Thereâ is an odd test for a person who was having trouble saying âSâ and was pronouncing it as âTHâ. I would think something like âShe sells sea shells by the sea shore.â

After awhile, it all gets old and it just seems like a natural part of life.

The lack of common sense is what leads to many (not all) government mandates

Seriously. Michael deserves a humdinger of a wallop in the noggin.

If you hit yourself in the head with a hammer for long enough, you will miss it when you stop. âŠsuks, I know.

Elizabeth you are great ignoring your annoying brother.

Elizabeth shows great restraint by not smacking her creepy brother in the head with that mirror. Her mom wouldnât mind if she did that.

Ignoring him is the best strategy. Eventually he will get tired of no reaction and stop.
