He needs reading glasses for the laptop. I have a computer monitor with a 23" screen. It’s really an all-in-one desktop computer. It has a touch screen; but, I prefer to use a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. I do have a stylus so that I can draw on the screen. Not the glass that covers the screen, of course.

I use a magnifying glass. the zoom sizer would have to be too big sometimes.

I’m age 65, I have two lens implants, and I use no aids to see my monitor, nor even to walk around. If I’m driving (I don’t have my own car), I wear my eyeglasses to see highway signage. Just plain lucky …

“CTRL +” works for me.

Chrome: + to zoom in, - to zoom out, 0 to restore, center mouse wheel to zoom both ways. Apple: Ancient chants and dances to zoom in and out. Burnt offerings to restore.

Can you zoom in during Zoom?

Copy the good and improve those things that can use improving……

Baldo, show him how to increase the font size.

They do have enlarge setting on the Mac. Look under Accessibility.

What drives me nuts is that video game developers seem to think that they need to use the smallest font size possible… so even though we have a decently sized tv (48 inches maybe?) we have to get up and stand within 2 feet of the thing to read the words! And most video games don’t allow you to change font size- believe me, we’ve looked!

So… how much did Apple pay for product placement?

Since when did Dad completely forget how to set up his computer? Or use Google?

My laptop has a zoom on it. So I can pretend I don’t need glasses.

Baldo could just say: “They do, Papi.” and show him how.

But, he’d rather just watch the struggle.
