Any ole fresh pumpkin is usually too watery for pie. You need special pumpkins grown especially for pie.

Big pumpkins do not make good pies. You want the smaller, “sugar pumpkins”.

Never underestimate the power of a credit card in the hands of an Adam. Halloween just went nuclear.

Just a couple of days working for mr. Block and it’s paid off….

We watch our money very carefully. On an emergency run to BJs for plastic gloves we saw in the Christmas Dept a cute snowman door greeter – I commented to husband – he started over to check the price – I stopped him – I knew it was $40 – not a sum of money to waste nor do we have room for it.

And now I know what we might need the money for plus. Turned on my laptop to read comics and we ended up spending over 2 hours trying to get it to start and researching what can be wrong with it – good thing bought at Costco as just short of 2 yrs old and extra warranty from them runs an extra 3 years so still covered. Hope we don’t have to ship it somewhere and have shipped back or probably will never see it again. Working on the WinXP it replaced then – boy have I missed this laptop.
