In “The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book”, Bill follows his inclusion of this strip with the explanation that it was inspired by his arguments with the newspaper syndicate who published the strip and wanted to merchandise it and make a TV cartoon of it. The biggest laugh for me in “A Fish Called Wanda” was Jamie Lee Curtis explaining to Kevin Klein that the primary principal of Zen Buddhism was not “Look out for Number One,”
