Dogs stuck in houses alone seem to do a lot of damage that looks like boredom to me.

as if playing a First World War fighter pilot doesn’t relieve your boredom, Snoopy

Yes, dogs get bored, especially when left alone for hours on end. A bored dog is a destructive dog. They will find something to do, and that includes tearing things up that are in reach, chewing etc.

And the endless barking.

Awwwwwwwwww!!!! I love dogs !!!

They can always chase their tail. It always seems to get away from them in the chase. I guess it is a case of circular logic.

Snoopy’s many fantasy lives keep him from being bored: “Here’s the World’s most famous ______ (fill in the blank)”.

Besides, can you imagine Snoopy as a piece of wood?

I’ve never seen a dog that didn’t get excited by seeing a squirrel.

Dogs aren’t even bored with the spay and neuter thing!

As a wise man once said, under the conditions where a man becomes bored, a dog goes to sleep. Smart dog!

Not so sure about the not excited bit.. my daughters Miniature Pinchers get excited over pretty well anything, a neighbor walking by.. a snack.. an open door.. grabbing my coat.

I dunno, Snoopy seems to get excited about “God ol’ sup, sup, suppertime!”

My dog would disagree if she could. She barks when a car door, basement or apartment door closes; if she hears footsteps on the stairs; or if someone beeps the horn when locking their vehicle.
