They’ve come to invite us to a thanksgiving dinner.

Think I heard that somewhere else, or some other time.

I do believe there was a Collins on the Mayflower….one of your relatives Dan?

Do you think we should build a wall?

Their moat wasn’t wide enough.

They spread disease, they are still doing it today.

Human progress has never been pretty, sometimes even ugly, but it has been shaped by those that are willing to go forth and follow the need for humans to know what is beyond the horizons. Commentators, complainers or cynics often slow that sometimes painful process, but can never stop it no matter how hard they try.

…and all that land that’s just lying around.

Better to slaughter them all if you knew the future. Though the Pilgrims were decent sorts different from the Puritans. Pilgrims made friends with the Indians, the Puritans made war.

We’d have been a lot better off if the Pilgrims had won here not the Puritans.
