Louie needs to give that guy a nip.

I like ducks but not on my dinner plate—too greasy for me.

Louie is being pretty patient, so far. But if they tie up the wading pool much longer, they will regret it.

I hope this don’t interfere with the mice hockey season.

Good morning Crew!

My lab has been banned from the community dog park. Seems the squirrels flock to him when he lays down and the other dogs go crazy. Frankie will defend the squirrels and has gotten into trouble. So, I made a few squirrel feeders in the back yard for him. He loves them.

This is a good continuation.

and as I alluded yesterday…a quick snap, and it’s Peking duck tonight…

Always wear eye protection when working around pointy plants and with wild animals…

I feed the ducks at the park when I walk my dog. They have gotten used to us and start to gather when they are us coming. food overpowers fear.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the mallards have the color and the females are plain.

Two birds, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Good thing Nate doesn’t speak Quack…

I’ve read that ducks “imprint” when they are born, and tend to be pretty aggressive the rest of the time. I’ve never really tried to befriend a duck so no personal experience. When I was an undergrad we had many geese on campus and I used to feed them bits of my egg salad sandwiches because I thought it was amusing for them to be unconscious cannibals. They didn’t seem to mind.

“Go for the eyes”??! Not in THIS cartoon you ain’t!

Louie will put a stop to that in a hurry.
