I was really surprised years ago when a fellow shopper spotted my list and nudged his wife and suggested they should try that. They had at least 15 years on me.
I once worked up spreadsheet for groceries, a checklist so that all my wife needs to do is turn on the computer, check off what she needs, and send the list to her phone. While she is computer literate, she prefers pen and paper for some reason. Wouldn’t even give it a try.
I’ve been using the Out of Milk shopping app for years. Works great. I can access it on my phone or my PC browser, and updating it on one updates it on the other. I never have to write anything down over again, just check off what I get.

If I don’t make a list, I always forget something.

With his luck they’ll bring the list and still forget something on the list.

My list varies, depending upon what is on sale that week. There are some things that can last longer than one week. Why pay more?

For me, anything over 3 items means a list…

I made a list so that when I went to the store, I wouldn’t forget anything. Then I got to the store and realized I forgot the list.

Brutus bought enough groceries to feed an army a few days back. The list seems redundant as Brutus does the shopping anyway.

We have a list on the kitchen wall. When we go to the grocery store, I just take a phone pic of the list.
