No one but a highly paid pastry chef makes pie dough by hand. It’s just too impossible.

For goodness sake, they live in Center City Philadelphia!Nobody would object to some goodies from Termini Brothers Bakery!

It’s NOT that hard. Apple pie is easy.

It took me a while to get the joke. The peeler was camouflaged by Heart’s left ear…

I’m not expecting them to be five starships but that clearly is a peeler! You don’t have to bake to know what that is, does mom not cook!

As some of us were suggesting I think it’s best that they make a trip to the grocery store/supermarket and pick up a cake or pie

For crying out loud, just go out and buy a pie from a bakery. They won’t care. There’s no point in doing this if Addy has already given up.

And seriously, she doesn’t know what a peeler looks like?

Apple crumble (if you must go to the trouble of peeling and slicing the apples) is a much easier dessert than apple pie.

Also — Pillsbury pie crust, filling of your choice, whipped cream in a can. Done!

Also you don’t use red apples for baking a pie
